Hot off the Press (13)!!!

Look I am doing a post on time, lol. No really I apologize for the late posts and the reviews that have yet to be put up. I am in my last two classes and I am trying to go out with a bang, so that means I am focusing on school more than I have before. Plus, one of the classes is basically teaching me to write an amazing business plan, which is something that I need to learn to do since I plan on having my own business one day (soon). But that is not why you have stopped by here today, so without further ado…

For review:
Nothing. I know surprising, but I have enough on my kindle and bookshelves waiting to be reviewed so I won’t complain.

Books Purchased:
Yes that is right, the ban has been lifted, at least for the month of February.  I have a whole list of books that I want to get, but I have learned self-control so I don’t feel the need to run out and buy them all as if it’s the end of the world. But I was able to purchase some things that caught my eye at Half-Price Books.
Hexhall by Rachel Hawkins
Strange Angels: Jealousy by Lili st. Crow
Vanish by tess Gerritsen
Faefever by Karen Marie Moning
(the coolest part is that all of these books are part of a series that I’ve already got my hands on, except for Hexhall)
Personally, I think I did a pretty good job on my first book buying excursion after 7 weeks.

Library Haul:
Just got back from the library and found some that I couldn’t pass on.
Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment byJKames Patterson
Jennifer Scales and the Ancient Furnace by MaryJanice Davidson
Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
Sign Language by Amy Ackley
Lips Touch Three Times by Laini Taylor

Monthly Theme:
Multicultural Month

Reading Pile:
Since my post was late last week, I haven’t finished anything off of that pile-yet.

What did you get this week?
Always Shine,
Starr K

  1. Lips Touch is SO good! I LOVE the art work as well! Congrats for sticking to your ban for so long! I have a hard time with self control. Even when I think of all the millions of books I need to read that I already have it's so hard to not rush out to buy more. And sequels are especially hard because if I own the first I want the rest!

    1. I heard of Lips Touch when Daughter of Smoke and Bone came out. I definitely wanted to check it out. As for the ban, I honestly have to thank my friends for that, they were brutal but they helped.
