In an attempt to be more consistent and not do so many posts, I am combining my reading pile post with my books received post (this is known by many names, and is self-explanatory).

What I am Currently Reading:

Lesson learned from last week, read the tour book first! So... I am currently reading The Cadet of Tildor by Alex Lidell. My tour stop date is Jan 12th, but since school is starting I didn't want to pull an all nighter -unless I had to. After this, I hope to finish up Trapped by Kevin Hearne and Daughter of the Sword by Steve Bein.

What I will be reading:
If by chance, and I will be working hard so it will be, I finish up Trapped and Daughter of the Sword before the end of the week, I will be starting Griffin's Storm by Darby Karchut.

What I wish I was reading right now:
I am sad that I haven't been add any of my wishful books to my reading pile just yet. But, I have new wishful books for this week. Just two this time. Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion and Waking the Witch by Kelley Armstrong.

Netgalley Adds
Yes, I know I have enough on my plate. But it's really not my fault if I get approvals after I've forgotten about them. (At least that's what i tell myself.)  Fuse By Julianna Baggot (Book 2 of the Pure trilogy). I will be reading Pure soon, and hope to add this to the pile shortly after. The Better to See You by Kate Serine (Book 2 in the Transplanted Tales series) I will actually be posting my review of Red (book 1) later this week. Finally, Ender's World edited by Orson Scott Card. This is an anthology of various writer's thoughts on Ender's Games and other related books in the series. Because I LOVE this series and all thing Orson Scott Card, I couldn't pass this up!

Well, that's all from my desk! Leave a link or mention in the comments what you're reading this week!!

Always Shine,
Starr

  1. Ovid's Metamorphosis vs. Leven Thumps???!!! Okay, THAT made me laugh. I'm not sure there could be a much greater disparity. :)

    1. What can I say, I have eclectic reading habit. Leven Thumps came highly recommended though.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I seriously need to pick up a Richelle Mead book sometime, it's about time that I do! While I didn't enjoy the Wicked Lovely series, I hope you like Radiant Shadows. The Cadet of Tildor looks quite good, and it looks like a fantastic fantasy!

    Enjoy your lovely books! <3

    1. Yes! You should definitely read some Richelle Mead. I met Georgina before I met Rose, but I love both series. Georgina is a succubus and it's very much an adult series. I am going to start reading her Dark Swan series before moving on to the Bloodlines series. I don't actually remember the Wicked Lovely Series. I started it pre-blogging and never finished it. I figured I probably should. Cadet of Tildor, is a sneaky book. I'm almost finished with it and I have to say it was not what I expected in the best kind of way!

      Thanks for stopping by!
